THIS IS THE FIRST POST to MichiBlogger, a blog-like website dedicated to news and events of concern to those in West Michigan.

My goal is simple: I aim to become the Instapundit of West Michigan. I intend to, more or less, write in a style very similar to that used by Glenn Reynolds, i.e. a more of a linker than a thinker.

I go by the call-sign "Murdoc", and I have written at Murdoc Online for the past three years covering (primarily) the military and the Global War on Terror.
